In thecase of an inverted roof, the thermal insulation is exposed to moisture above the sealingplane. To protect the insulating plane from UV radiation, a gravel surfacing, a green roofor concrete panels are applied to the insulation. The sealing plane lies in a temperaturezone with slight thermal fluctuations that remains constant over the year. Connecting thesealing plane over the whole area thereof to the roof substrate prevents water fromseeping in behind. The inverted roof according to the invention comprises an openablesolar panel mounting directed away from the insulating panel and a ballasting material inthe gap between the insulating panels and the solar panels within the solar are laid out on the roof substrate, the upwardly openable solar panels aredetached and the ballasting material is introduced directly into the interior of the solarmodule. The solar module is in a completely finished state and already has an insulatingpanel.
