Betty. Today we are going to talk about some automated animation, that is, some cartoons made in

America. 今天的节目中，我们将一起重温几部经典的美国动画片。But at first, it’s time to take

这里是英语沙龙，我是Betty. Like I said, today our topic is automated animations made in the US,

but what will be slightly different today is that I am perfectly happy to have invited my friend

Spring to join us. Say hello to everybody, Spring.

Hello, I’m Spring! I’m the guest to this show today. Betty and I are going to have a reminiscent

time with you, cus we will look back on some classic cartoons which are very familiar

to all of us.

Exactly, can u remember how old we were when we watched this ? I only vaguely remember

a little of it, like the small blue guys wearing white caps, maybe, I can hardly

remember any other details of the plot, can you?

Not very much. I was in kindergarten when it played on TV…

ones. Spring, we just talked about the Smurfs, which is my favourite, what about

Well, Shrek,I think. Shrek is one of my favourite!

Yeah, you are telling me! It’s a Disney work,right? Or the dream work?

We just mentioned smurfs which was translated as 蓝精灵，which is popular when we

were running around in the kindergarten maybe, and the shrek…

Yeah， my favourite，it’s a typical animated film which was made in the US and well

received in China.

Any other worth a mention here? There are so many cartoons fascinating millions of

Chinese viewer in recently years.

The market in china for imported cartoon is rather booming. like the up飞屋环球记，I love it a lot! Lovely story!

Yeah, me too. it won the best animated film in the academy award (S: Oscar) this

year. And, I just remembered another cartoon series, which is very popular in the

latest a couple of years。
