2. omission of particles
(1) omitting prepositions
He spent four hours (in) going over his lessons.. He spent four
hours reviewing his lessons.

English for five years.
(2) omission of conjunctions that
I believe (that) you will succeed., I am sure you will succeed.
It, s, a, pity (that), he, leaving., s, he's leaving, what a
pity.

(3) omitting relative pronouns
I, ll, give, you, all (that), I, have., I want to give you
everything I have.
He read the book (which) I got yesterday.. He read the book I

3. omission of sentence elements
(1) omitting subject
Beg, your, pardon. (I), please forgive me. (omitted the subject
I before Beg)
Take care! Watch out! (omitted the subject you before Take)

(2) omitting predicates
Who next? Who is it? (Who followed by omitting the predicate
comes)

omission of was)

by omitting the verb do)
(3) is omitted
Are, you, ready, Yes, I, am., are you ready? I'm ready。 (ready
