Introduction to Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region

1、Geography and people

Covering the area of 66,400 square kilometers Ningxia

Hui Autonomous Region is the largest Hui ethnic community in

china with the total population of 6.04 million

people .Located in the northwest of China Ningxia is divided

into five parts: Yinchuan, Shizuishan, Wuzhong. Zhongwei and

Guyuan. The capital city ,Yinchuan is the political, economic

and cultural center which is composed of three districts that

are Xixia district where our company is situated in, the

Jinfen district and Xingqing district.

2、Climate and environment

At an altitude of 1100 meters Ningxia is the continental

climate with the average annual rainfall from 190 to 700

millimeters.

3、Economy and interest sites

As one of the most famous interest spots Xixia Tombs lies

in 30 km west of Yinchuan. The other famous sites in Ningxia

include Helan Mountain, The Film studio and The Sandlake etc.

The city's GDP per capita was ¥31,436 in 2008, ranking 197th

of 659 Chinese cities.
