剑桥雅思11 Test 4 Task 1

The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and

the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied

they were with their visit., during the same two periods.

结构：

这是表格和饼图组成的混合图，比较容易想到的是将表格部分和饼图部分分成两个主体段来

写。

然而真正的难点是，应该把饼图当成动态图（某种满意程度的人的比例增加了或者减少了）

还是静态图来写呢（其中一次调查中那种满意程度的人的比例最大、最小或者接近）？其实

都是可行的。但是，如果把饼图当做动态图来写，就应该在结尾段比较单幅饼图的最值；如

果当做静态图来写，就应该在结尾段提到趋势。

以下范文的写作，就是将饼图当做静态图来写的。

范文：

The table gives information about how many people paid visits to Ashdown Museum in the year

before and the year after the refurbishment.

There were 74000 visitors to this museum in the year prior to the refurbishment, while the year

succeeding the refurbishment witnessed an increase of 18000 visitors.

The two pie charts illustrate how satisfied the visitors were in the years before and after the

refurbishment. In the former year, 15% of the interviewees were “very satisfied”, while the

percentage of those who were “satisfied” doubled. The largest category of visitors described

themselves as “dissatisfied”, accounting for two fifths. The worst category of all included people

who were “very dissatisfied”, and they constituted a tenth. On the other hand, the results for the

year after the refurbishment were much more pleasing. Over a third of the visitors were “very

satisfied”, and two fifths, the largest group, felt “satisfied”. Visitors who were “dissatisfied”

represented merely 15% and even fewer (5%) ticked “very dissatisfied”. In both surveys, 5% of

interviewees did not respond.

In sum, in the year prior to the refurbishment, fewer than a half of the visitors were “satisfied” or

“very satisfied”, while this figure rose to 75% in the year after the refurbishment.

常见坑：

1. 附加因果关系

写“因为人们的满意度提高了，所以参观者增长了”。图形并没有表达这个意思，也不要去

猜测，这不属于小作文考查的范畴。（人们可能只是因为听说博物馆refurbish了就去了，好

奇现在长啥样；可能博物馆有了更好的宣传，吸引了更多参观者；满意度才刚提高，怎么就

吸引更多游客了呢？靠口碑传播本身就是很漫长的方式。）

2. 替换satisfied

不能用content, satiated替换satisfied，因为satisfied是引用survey的信息。

3. 人们选择的“感受（very satisfied, satisfied等）”不加引号

静态图写作的难点：

相比动态图（有大量趋势，趋势表达的替换方式非常多），静态图更容易显得重复。本文会

大量出现重复的词包括：the year before refurbishing, the year after refurnishing.另外，“感到

**（非常满意，满意，不满意，非常不满意）的人”也会出现多次。（替换见范文解析）
