view, sight, scene与scenery

View:

A. 风景/光, 景色: 指从一个特定点观看到的景物, (尤指美丽的乡村的自然)风景/光、

景色。多指从某一位置(如某一高处、远处、通过窗户等某个角度所看见的)景物、风景，

属于scenery的一部分，即view是从某个地方看到的部分scenery, 有时可与scene互换。

但scenery 大多包含了其中的人及其活动。

mountain hotel offered magnificent views. 从山间旅行社可以看到壮丽的

景观。

scene:

景物/致。(戏剧，电影，小说等的) 一场/场面/场景，现场、(出事)地点。指风景时着

重指展现于眼前的景色的特征；指具体的、局部的或一时的景色，可以是自然形成的，也

可以是人工造成的。常指人参与了其中的“景色”。(景色中包含着人或者运动状态)

A. “景色”。指展现在眼前的情景，也可以指scenery的一部分，可与view通用，

但还包括其中的人及活动在内。

sight: n. 风景(常用复数), 视力(不可数)，视野，情景，景象

v. 看见，发现

A. 当“风景”时，常指人们游览观光的风景，特别值得一看的景物，多指人为的景物，

如高大的建筑物，史迹等。指风景、名胜、景点时常用复数。

the sights 名胜 to see the sights游览名胜 the sights of London.

the sight of a place 一个地方的名胜 sightseeing 游览；观光

see the historical sights of London游览伦敦的名胜古迹。

Come and see the sights of London.来看伦敦的名胜。

The Imperial Palace is one of the sights of China.

The Great Wall is one of the wonderful sights in the world.

B. 视野/眼界

in/with sight 可以看见，在视线内

They waited until the plane was within sight. 他们一直等到飞机进入到视野范围

C. 视力：shortsighted/ short-sighted 目光短浅的；近视的

weak-sighted 弱视的 lose one's sight 失明
