01、I’m special. I’m rare. 我就是我 独一无二

In the entire world there’s nobody like me. Since the beginning of time, there

has never been another person like me. Nobody has my smile. Nobody has my

eyes, my nose, my hair, my hands, or my voice.

大千世界，芸芸众生，没人与我相同。自创世伊始，从未有过像我一样的人。没人拥

有和我一样的笑容;没人拥有和我一样的眼睛、鼻子、头发、双手或声音。

I'm special.

我就是我。

No one can be found who has my handwriting. Nobody anywhere has my

tastes-for food or music or art. No one sees things just as I do. In all of time

there’s been no one who laughs like me, no one who cries like me. And what

makes me laugh and cry will never provoke identical laughter and tears from

anybody else, ever. No one reacts to any situation just as I would react.

我的笔迹独一无二。我的品味与众不同——不管是对于食物、音乐还是艺术。对于世

间万物,我拥有独特的视角。无论何时,都没有人欢笑如我，哭泣如我。让我开心和流泪的事

物不会引起他人相同的反应，绝对不会。面对各种处境,我也有自己独特的应对方式。

I'm the only one in all of creation who has my set of abilities. Oh, there will

always be somebody who is better at one of the things I’m good at, but no one in

the universe can reach the quality of my combination of talents, ideas, abilities and

feelings. Like a room full of musical instruments, some may excel alone, but none

can match the symphony sound when all are played together. I’m a symphony.

在天地万物中，我的能力组合独具一格。哦,我所擅长之处，必有人技高一筹。但是, 世

界上没有人能像我一样,将天赋、思想、能力和感觉如此独特地结合在一起。好比一间放满

乐器的房间，某件乐器可能会一鸣惊人，但所有乐器共同奏出的交响乐将无与伦比。我就

是一曲交响乐。

Through all of eternity no one will ever look, talk, walk, think or do like me.

亘古恒远，没有人会像我一样地观察、交谈、行走、思考或行事。

And, in all rarity there is great value. Because of my great rare value, I need not

attempt to imitate others. I will accept-yes, indeed, celebrate — my differences. I'm

special.

而且，独特中蕴含着巨大的价值。因为这独特而又巨大的价值,我不需要去模仿他人。

我会欣然接受——更确切地说是赞美——我的与众不同。我就是我。

And I’m beginning to realize it’s no accident that I’m special. I’m

beginning to see that I have been made for a very special purpose. There is a job

for me that no one else can do as well as I. Out of all the billions of job applicants,

only one is qualified, only one has the right combination of what it takes. That one

is me. I’m special.

我渐渐理解,我之所以独特并非机缘巧合。我开始明白，造物主为我创设了一个特定的

目标。有一份工作是为我量身定制的，他人无法胜任。在数以亿计的求职者中，只有一个

人是合格的，只有一个人具备恰如其分的条件。那个人就是我。因为……我就是我。

02、Vitamins for the Mind 心灵维他命

One of the most important habits in life is to feed your mind with positive

mental food. Remember, you are very susceptible to the suggested influences in

your environment, whether radio, television, newspapers, magazines, billboards or

conversations with other people. Your mind is your most important and precious

asset. You must protect it and keep it clean, clear and focused on what you want,

rather than allowing it to be polluted by the negative influences around you.

生活中最重要的习惯之一就是要经常为自己补充积极的精神食粮。要记住，你对周围

的环境非常敏感，无论是收音机、报纸、电视、杂志、广告或与他人的对话，都会对你产

生很大影响。你的心灵是你最重要和珍贵的资产，你必须尽力保护，维持其纯净清澈。同

Refuse to watch terror or trash on television. Refuse to read about all the

murders, robberies, rapes and tragedies in the newspapers. Refuse to listen to

endless hours of mindless radio commentary on all the problems in the modern

world. Refuse to engage in endless conversations with people about all the

political and social problems in your nation or community. Keep your mind clean,

clear, positive and free.

拒绝收看电视渲染的暴力和色情，拒绝阅读报纸上有关谋杀、抢劫、强奸的报道，拒

绝收音机里滔滔不绝的毫无意义的时事评论，拒绝参与对于政治和社会的无休止辩论。保

持你的心灵纯净、清澈、积极且自由自在。

Not only do you become what you think about, but also you become what you

feed into your mind on a regular basis. If you want to be positive, optimistic and

happy, continually feed your mind with positive books and articles, positive audio

learning programs, positive input and information from other experts in your field,

and positive conversations with other optimistic goal-oriented people who are

going somewhere with their lives.

你是自己思想的产物，也是心灵食粮的产物。如果你希望自己积极、乐观、快乐，必

须为自己补充“心灵维他命”，这包括积极的书籍和文章、积极的语音课程节目、专家的专

业知识分享，或是经常与乐观的人沟通对话。

03、I’ll give you some advice about life.给你生活的忠告

Eat more roughage;

多吃些粗粮;

Do more than others expect you to do and do it pains;

Remember what life tells you;

Don’t take to heart everything you hear. Don’t spend all that you have.

Don’t sleep as long as you want;

Whenever you say“ I love you”，please say it honestly;

无论何时说“我爱你”,请真心实意;

Whenever you say” I’m sorry”，please look into the other person’s eyes;

Don’t neglect dreams;

Just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to, doesn’t

mean they don’t love you with all they have.

爱你的人如果没有按你所希望的方式爱你，那并不代表他们没有全心全意地爱你。

Don’t try to hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.

不要着急，最好的总会在最不经意的时候出现。

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right

one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.

在遇到梦中人之前，上天也许会安排我们先遇到别人;在我们终于遇见心仪的人时, 便

应当心存感激。

Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened.

不要因为结束而哭泣，微笑吧，为你的曾经拥有。
