tell/recognize/understand/know/realize区别

: to know sth, see or judge sth correctly

tell: 知道，看出，确切地判断...

I could tell (that) he was angry from his expression.

2. 1）recognize: know who sb is or what sth is when you see/hear it/them;

because you have seen/heard it/them before.

recognize:认识， 认出， 辨别出

I recognized her by her red hair.

2）recognize: to admit to be aware that sth exists or is true

recognize: 承认，意识到

They recognized the need to take the problem seriously.

3. understand: to know or realize how or why sth happens/works, how it

works or why it is important

understand: 了解，认识到，明了

I could never understand why she was fired.

: to realize, understand or be aware of sth

know: 认识到，懂得，意识到

I walked in the room I knew (that) something was wrong.

e: to understand and become aware of a particular fact or

situation:

realize: 理解，领会，认识到，意识到...

I didn't realize (that) you were so unhappy.

know：知道、懂得、会做某事,没有realize了解得透彻、全面

realize：全面透彻地了解,语气比know强;
