My Awesome Classmates on the Field!

Wow, you should see my classmates on the field during

recess! It's like a crazy fun adventure every single day. Let me tell

you all about it!

First up, there's my best friend Tommy. He's the captain of

our kickball team. Tommy is a total sports superstar! He can kick

that red ball halfway across the giant field. And he runs so fast,

it's like he has rocket boosters on his shoes. Whenever Tommy is

up to kick, we all cheer "Go Tommy! Go Tommy!" as loud as we

can. He loves showing off his awesome skills.

Then there's Emily. She's kind of quiet in class, but on the

field she goes absolutely wild! Emily brings her hula hoops every

day and she's seriously the queen of hula hooping. She can twirl

multiple hula hoops at the same time, going up and down her

whole body. Once I even saw her skip rope while hula hooping -

it was mind-blowing! Sometimes the other girls join Emily for

hula hoop competitions to see who can keep them spinning the

longest. No one can beat Emily though, she's just too good.

My pal Jacob is another one of the total field superstars.

Jacob lives for tetherball! He gets so sweaty whipping that

tetherball around the pole at lightning speed. Watching him play

is like seeing a tennis champion battle it out. Jacob gets this

intense look on his face when he winds up to smash the ball. He'll

dive and leap to clobber that ball over and over again. We

usually have an epic tournament at the end of recess to decide

that day's tetherball king. More often than not, it's Jacob taking

the crown!

Have you ever played four square? It's one of the craziest

games on our field! My buddies Michael, Sarah, and Chris are the

four square masters. They know all the rules inside and out. You

have to eliminate the other players from the four squares by

bouncing a ball into their square in a special way. It's super tough!

Michael has this sneaky spin shot that hardly anyone can return.

Sarah is lightning fast and returns every sick shot the others

throw at her. And Chris is a bouncing ball wizard - he makes the

craziest bank shots you've ever seen! Those three are absolute

eight square legends.
