Honored Guests, parents, graduates, 尊敬的各位来宾、家长，

亲爱的毕业生们，The Webster Dictionary defines a problem as a

state of difficulty that needs to be resolved” some time we even

“Opportunity” as “a possibility due to a favorable

combination of circumstances”.韦氏词典对“问题”一词的定义是

这样的：有待解决的困难，有时这些困难甚至可以被称为“挑战”。

同样的，“机遇”一词被定义为一种可能性，一种突然遇到的有利条

件和环境。

会觉得它很普通，全是线头，没有一点吸引力。但是，如果从另外一

面看待问题或是欣赏织锦，从正确的一面，它绝对是一幅美丽的艺术

品。其实处理问题也是同样的道理。问题的一面让人看不到光明，充

满焦虑和沮丧；而另一面则是一幅美丽的图画，是艺术家创造的美丽

蓝图。把问题变成机遇，不断前进，并且学会从正确的角度思考问题。

So, one solution that I have found when I am facing a

problem is simply to re-name it – “a problem is only a solution

waiting to be found”.所以，我自己面对问题时的解决方法很简单，

就是重新给它命名－“问题只是等待被发现的解决方法而已”。

Think of problems or challenges as “opportunities” for

action, for personal growth and positive choosing to

believe that a circumstance or situation is an opportunity, rather

than a problem has the potential, to significantly influence the

outcome you will experience.同学们，面对问题和挑战时，把它当成

是自己可以作为、成长和前进的机会吧。把握机遇，迎难而上，我相

信你们有能力解决问题。

Opportunities inspire one to take from that

perspective, you can welcome the situations that are dreaded

and often described as of them as opportunities,

be grateful for them and be curious as to what new advantages

they might provide.机遇会激励人们有所作为。如此一来，我们应该

欢迎“问题”。我们要把问题当成机遇，对它们心怀感激，保持一颗

好奇心，看看它们会带给你什么样的惊喜。

The next time you see yourself faced with a daunting

problem, choose to think of it as an opportunity for positive

s are that you will have more energy to deal with

the circumstance or situation before you and you will be

surprised at how positive the outcome will be, just because you

have chosen to embrace an “opportunity,” instead of dealing

with a “problem.”

下次，当你面临一个让人头疼的问题时，把它当成个人成长和积
