substitute的用法和搭配

Substitute是一个英语单词，可以作为动词或名词使用。作为动词，

其主要含义是“替代、代替”，在不同的语境中可以有不同的搭配和

用法。

1. Substitute + for

这种用法是指用某个物品、事物或人来替代另一个物品、事物或人。

例如：

- I substituted the butter for margarine in the recipe.

（我在食谱中用植物黄油代替了黄油。）

- The team substituted the injured player for a new one.

（球队用一名新队员替换了受伤的球员。）

2. Substitute + with

这种用法也是指用某个物品、事物或人来替代另一个物品、事物或人。

但与上述用法不同的是，它强调替代后的新物品、事物或人是与原来

的不同的。例如：

- I substituted my old phone with a new one.

（我用一部新手机替换了我的旧手机。）

- The restaurant substituted the beef with lamb in the dish.

（餐厅用羊肉代替了菜肴中的牛肉。）

3. Substitute + for + with

这种用法结合了前两种用法，指用某个不同的物品、事物或人来替代

原来的物品、事物或人。例如：

- I substituted the sugar for honey, and the flour with almond flour in the

recipe.

（我在食谱中用蜂蜜代替了糖，用杏仁粉代替了面粉。）

- The coach substituted the striker for a midfielder, and the defender

with a new player.

4. Substitute + as

这种用法指为某个物品、事物或人寻找一位或一件替代品。例如：

- Could you substitute as my date for the party tomorrow?

（明天的聚会上，你能当我的替代伴侣吗）

- The company is looking for someone to substitute as the CEO while the

current one is on vacation.

（公司正在寻找一位人选，在现任CEO休假期间担任其替代。）

作为名词，substitute常用于指代替品或替代者。例如：

- I cannot find any substitute for the lost key.

（我找不到任何一把替代掉失的钥匙。）

- The new substitute teacher is very kind and helpful.
