整个课程的大纲(我是按自己的理解划分的,和课堂的分法有些不同)

有几节课(lecture 6、9、13、16、21)不那么重要,比起其他章节它们更像是讲座类型的,所以没有列出:

Lecture 2-4: Block 1  介绍商业环境、企业运营环境(为企业管理部分定调)

2. External & Internal Environment:外部环境与内环境

3. Macroeconomic Environment(Macroenvironment):宏观外部环境

4. Microeconomic Environment:微观外部环境

Lecture 5-10:Block 2  市场机遇与风险、应对之策(介绍企业运作,为产品开发流程做铺垫)

2.Introduction

Manager Level

  • First-line Managers - individuals who manage the work of non managerial employees
  • Middle Managers - individuals who manage the work of first-line managers
  • Top Managers - individuals who are responsible for making organization-wide decisions and establishing plans and goals that affect the entire organization

Questions:

1. Explain why managers are important to organizations?

Because they're responsible to make great decisions and plan which will effect the fate and future direction of the whole organization;

to realise the organization goal,they need to work well with all staff members and make everyone create the value they are supposed to,and get what they deserve.


2. Define who managers are and where they work

  • Managers do the process:
        a. achieving organisational objectives within a changing environment,         b. by balancing efficiency, effectiveness and equity(3 E’s),         c. obtaining the most from limited resources.              (that process,is Management)
  • Managers work in organization,with and through people

3. Describe the functions, roles, and skills of managers

4 functions:

3 roles:私人、信息、决策

 skills:

(1)analyze the changing environment,make good plan

(2)interact with members well,exchange and inform the idea smoothly

(3)deliver the responsibilities to members reasonably

(4)organize everyone well to do the job


4. Explain the value of studying management

Fit the reality that management is needed
