读后续写细节描写第一讲：描写forest, woods

英语文学的描写在于细节，如此可以细分为物和人两大类别。就物而言，

又分

山川和建筑。山川又可以细分为：forest, mountains, caves, islands

and volcanoes, paths,

rivers, sea。第一个章节我说forest，这也是鉴于浙江这几年的读后续写都

是

关于森林有关的多。但高中的词汇量也就是3500，而文学中的景色描写很容易

超过这个数字。我为了减轻高中生的记忆压力，力图从200多本经典英文原著中

挑选最常见的表达（我发现很多表达反复出现在很多人作品中，因此以下呈现都

可以供高中学生大胆选用），个别超纲词汇也无碍。

如何练习：

当写到树林的时候，查看本节，根据文章需要挑选句子。

我的学生跟我说，记不住。其实，没有谁能一下子记住，多练习几篇就会

记住

的。

考生需要记住，景色描写，一定要脑子里存在几幅图，例如下面的，这样你才能

更好去应用。实际上，读后续写的图像定格是非常重要和实用的技

能，我后面

会说到。

Chapter 1 Forest

这一节说树林，无非围绕：草、花、树（包括树干、树茎、树叶、藤

蔓）、颜色。其中读者最好多记忆一些文学作品中常见的花名，好比

汉语小说中常用牵牛花、红豆等。（虽然有点累，但是你会

发现很值

得）

以高考真题作文为例：妻子和丈夫分手后迷路了，两段的开头：

1. But no more helicopters came and it was getting dark again.

2. It was daybreak when Jane woke

up.这两段描写都会涉及到森林景色的描写，第一段的森林景色应该是和黑夜有关，表达出妻子

的恐惧；第二段景色描写应该是和晨曦有关，暗示希望。

这样的描写不用多，每段一两句即可。
