transmitted through saliva, blood, and urine, FeLV weakens
the immune system, making cats more vulnerable to

Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV): Another
retrovirus, FIV also compromises the immune system but is
transmitted more commonly through bite wounds. It can lead
to a wide range of secondary infections and health
complications.
Feline Calicivirus (FCV): A highly contagious virus,
FCV causes respiratory and digestive symptoms such as
sneezing, runny nose, ulcers, and pneumonia.
Feline Herpes Virus (FHV): Also known as cat flu, FHV
manifests as conjunctivitis, upper respiratory infections,
and corneal ulcers.
Parasitic Infestations.
Fleas and Ticks: External parasites that feed on the
blood of cats, causing irritation, anemia, and potential
disease transmission.
Internal Parasites (Worms): Worms can infest the
gastrointestinal tract and lungs, leading to weight loss,
vomiting, diarrhea, and respiratory issues. Common types
include roundworms, tapeworms, and hookworms.
Ear Mites: Microscopic mites that infest the ears,
