Introduction

These results obtained are for a Hooke’s Law experiment. The first two results,

linear regions. The curve z, is for a material which has gone past it’s elastic

region (in the plastic region). x is the force applied (in Newtons) and y

estimate of the value of x where the two lines meet. Check this

estimate by resolving the simultaneous equations.

 You should use the automated features of excel wherever possible.

 All results should be given to an appropriate accuracy.

 You should use titles, labels and formatting to make your answers

easy to see.

 All graphs should be properly annotated.

3. You should then create a slideshow for a presentation of this data using

Microsoft PowerPoint. This should:

Deadline for submission: 17/11/2010 by 12:00. Normal faculty late penalties

will apply to work handed in after the deadline.
