identity词根
词根：ident = same相同。
我们来共同记这些ident词根相关的词汇：
1. identical, ident （相同）加上形容词后缀-ical （表示：…...的）,意思是“相同的，
相等的，同一的”。如：
Nearly all the houses were identical
几乎所有的房子都一模一样。
★identic ，ident （相同）加形容词后缀-ic （…...的）,identic是形容词，就表示：
（外交文件）措词相同的，形式相同的。
ty ,由ident（相同）加上-ity 名词后缀（具备某种性质，状况），表示“同
一（性），相同，一致；身份；本身”
如：an identity of interests利益一致
There's a close identity between fans and their team.
球迷和他们的球队之间有密切的同一性。
3. identify [ident（相同）加 -i-表示连接,最后加动词后缀-fy，表示“使......，
做…...”( 认出相同的东西→识别，鉴别，验明，鉴定),所以identify的意思是“认
出，识别；使等同于；”。
如：She was able to identify her attacker.
她认出了袭击她的人。
★identifier ，这是由上一词identify改词尾的辅音y为i加 –er（表示人），构词
“辨认人，鉴定人，识别者”
★identification，identify 改也为i后加-cation 名词后缀，意思是“识别，验明，认
明；证明；鉴定；证件；身份证明”。
★ identifiable ，identify 改也为i后加形容词后缀-able （可...的），意思是“可看
