2023年中考英语语法精讲：4类介词短语用法归纳

一、类介词结构用法归纳

(1) 表示“从·..·...至......”“从.....到......”。如:

How far is it from your office to the bank? 从你办公室到

银行有多远?

We are removing from London to the country. 我们正从伦敦

迁往乡下。

I want a rope that will go from the top window to the ground.

我要一条绳，其长度能自最上一扇窗户垂到地面。

(2)表示“由......变成·.....”“将......改为......”。如:

He has moved from acting to film production.他由演员变成

了制片人。

She's been downgraded from principal to deputy.她已从校

长降为副校长。

He swings from wild optimism to total despair他由极其乐

观一变而为完全绝望。

The room was converted from a kitchen to a lavatory 这房

间由厨房改成了厕所。

(3) 表示“从一个......到另一个......”“一个......一个地”

“逐个......”“挨个......”。如:

These people go from house to house selling goods.这些人

挨家挨户兜售货物。

The ape swung along from branch to branch.那只装猴从一根

树枝汤到另一根树枝上。

I like to hop from channel to channel when I watch TV 我

看电视时喜欢不断地换频道。

Migrant workers move from country to country in search of

work. 流动工人从一国迁到另一国找寻工作。

The smaller animals can easily leap from tree to tree. 身

体较小的动物可以在树从间轻巧地跳来跳去。

Computer viruses replicate themselves and are passed along

from user to user.计算机病毒可以自我复制，然后由用户传给用户。

二、out of+名词”类介词习语归纳

out o faction 损坏，发生故障

The storm put the telephones out of action.暴风雨使电话

发生了故障。

The engine of the car is out of action.这辆小汽车的发动

机出了故障。

out of breath 气喘吁吁，喘不过气来

Can we have a rest? I m a bit out of breath.我们能休息一

下吗? 我有点气喘不过来。

We ran so fast that we were out of breath.我们跑得太快以

致喘不过气来。

out of character 不相称;不恰当

The actor's American accent was out of character with his

role as Hamlet. 这个员的美国口音不适合扮演哈姆雷特。

It is out of character for him to say thing like that. 他

out of condition 身体不好，情况欠佳

I've had no exercise for ages; I'm really out of condition.

我已多时没运动了，现在健康状况欠佳。

I can't go climbing this summer; I'm out of condition.

out of control失去控制

he car went out of control and ran into a wall 汽车失控

撞在一堵墙上。

The demonstration got out of control and fighting broke out.

out of danger 脱离险境

He is now out of danger.他现已脱离危险。

They’re still following us; we re not out of danger yet.

out of date 过时，已经不能用

I must renew my passport. It's out of date.我要更换护照，

这一本已经过期啦。

out of debt 还清负债，没欠债

I wish I could get out of debt.我希望能还清借款。

They work out of doors.他们在户外干活。
