The Xuzhou Metro - An Underground Journey of Discovery!

Hi there! My name is Xiaomin and I'm 10 years old. Recently,

my class went on the coolest field trip ever - we got to explore

the Xuzhou Metro! At first, I wasn't that excited. An underground

train? How boring could that be? But boy, was I wrong! The

Xuzhou Metro is like a whole other world tucked away beneath

our city.

As we descended into the stations, I was struck by the

vibrant colors and intricate designs that decorated the walls and

pillars. Each stop seemed to have its own special theme and

artwork. At Pengcheng Square Station, gigantic murals depicted

scenes from Xuzhou's rich history and culture. I spotted

terracotta warriors, ancient scholars, and even the famous

Xuzhou broomcorn!

My favorite was probably Yunlong District Station though.

The ceilings were painted a brilliant azure blue with fluffy white

clouds. It felt like being outside on a sunny day! The platforms
