摘要：PURPOSE:To assure the quality of a rolling material by correcting and

controlling the speed rolling reduction of a rolling stand in accordance with the deviation

between the tension on the rolling material between the rolling stand and bridle rolls on

the outlet and inlet sides and the reference thereof. CONSTITUTION:The detected

tension signal on the inlet side of a rolling stand detected by a tension detector 18 is

compared with the tension reference of a tension setter 19 when said signal enters a

control circuit 29. The signal corresponding to the deviation thereof is outputted from

the control circuit. The deviation signal is applied to a correcting and control device 21 for

screw-down and a screw-down correction signal is applied to a screw-down reference

circuit 15 by which an electric motor 17 for screw down is controlled. On the other hand,

the tension on the rolling material on the outlet side of the rolling mill is controlled by

an arithmetic part for speed correction quantity consisting of a detector 6, a tension

control circuit 7, a tension setter 8, etc. and a speed control part consisting of a speed

reference circuit 10, a reference setting circuit 11, etc. The quality of the rolling material

is thus assured by balancing the tension on the inlet side and outlet side of the rolling

stand.
