wait的用法与搭配

1. Wait for someone/something: 等待某人/某物

例如：I'm waiting for my friend to arrive.（我在等我的朋友到

达。）

2. Wait in line/queue: 排队等待

例如：We had to wait in line for over an hour to buy tickets.（我

们不得不排队等了一个多小时才买到票。）

3. Wait your turn: 等候轮到你

例如：Please wait your turn and be patient.（请等待轮到你并保

持耐心。）

4. Wait at a place: 在某个地方等待

例如：I will wait at the coffee shop for you.（我会在咖啡店等

你。）

5. Wait on someone: 为某人提供服务

例如：The waiter is waiting on the customers at the table.（服务

员正在为桌子上的客人提供服务。）

6. Wait for a bus/train: 等待公交车/火车

例如：She stood at the bus stop waiting for the bus to arrive.（她

站在公交车站等待公交车到来。）

7. Wait for a call/message: 等待电话/信息

例如：I'm still waiting for a call back from the company.（我仍

在等待公司的回电。）

8. Wait and see: 拭目以待，等着瞧

例如：I'm not sure if the plan will work, but we'll just have to wait

and see.（我不确定计划能否成功，我们只能拭目以待了。）
