The teacher shows 2 pictures on screen. The pictures are
about the old bridge on Tuhai River and a lot of cars are
crowed on the bridge.

T: Have you ever heard this news?
S: Yes.
T: Because the old bridge on Tuhai River is under repair now,
so a lot of cars are crowded on the new bridge, causing traffic
jams in rush hours. But I think the traffic problems in
Zhanhua is much better than that of some big cities, such as
Beijing, Shanghai. Do you think so?
S: Yes.
T: Recently, I received a letter from one of my friends who
lived in Beijing. Now please help me find out her problems.

T: Read this letter and I will give you 2 mins to find out her
six problems. Here you go.
Dear Alice,
How are you going recently?
I have been in Beijing for two months and the traffic here leaves a
bad impression on me. It is not convenient for me to drive to work
because time doesn’t permit, so I am always stuck in rush hours.
Occasionally, I go to work by bus, but it has limitations, too. If you
miss the bus, you will wait for the next one for a long time. Therefore,
I am always late and have the work unfinished on time.
I think the traffic problem is well worth considering by the
government to provide a good solution for us.
