Part B
In September 2021, three Chinese astronauts successfully completed a
three-month stay on board, during which they worked on the station’s Tianhe
core module and conducted two spacewalks to install equipment. In the following
month, October 16, China launched the Shenzhou-13 crewed spaceship, to the
Tianhe core module of China’s Tiangong space station in low Earth orbit.

Exercise Ⅲ
Tiangong space station caught the eyes of the world again as the three
astronauts of the Shenzhou-13 mission entered its core module on October 16,
2021. As China’s low-Earth-orbit space station, though Tiangong is smaller and
lighter than the International Space Station, its core, the Tianhe module, can
receive spacecraft, modules, and serve as the main habitat for astronauts. If
completed successfully, Tiangong will share its orbit with a space telescope to
survey the sky. China has striven for a long and arduous time to make a space
station possible. In the future, experiments in more areas will be carried out, and
thus Tiangong is expected to be a fixture in the sky for at least 10 years.
