Abstract

from
being
attackedwhentransmitted
along
the
network.Digital

watermarking
as
is
a
process
to
embedsign
information(watermark)into
or
a
digital
image,speech,text
document,book
illegal
use
video,toprotect
the
ownership
of
the
digital
information,to
prevent
thewithout
permission,and
to
authenticatethe
integrity
ofthecontent
by
examining
theexistenceofthewatermark.
The
keyproblem
ofdigitalhalftoningis
howto
arrangethepixels
oftheoutputhalftonedimage
with
a
limited
scope
of
a
gamut.Several
a
halftone
techniques
for
graylevelimages
error
are
introduced
inthis
papeq
such
as
ordered
dithering,directbinary
search,standard
error
diffusion
and
adaptive
diffusion,as
well
as
color
error
diffusion
halftoningsystem.Theperformances
ofthe
presented
algorithms
areevaluated
bycomparing
the
computationalcomplexity
andthevisual
effect.Furthermore,this
paperpresents
somenew
