attackedwhentransmitted

along

the

network.Digital

digital

image,speech,text

document,book

illegal

video,toprotect

the

ownership

of

the

digital

information,to

prevent

thewithout

permission,and

to

authenticatethe

integrity

ofthecontent

by

examining

theexistenceofthewatermark.

The

keyproblem

ofdigitalhalftoningis

howto

arrangethepixels

oftheoutputhalftonedimage

with

limited

scope

of

gamut.Several

halftone

techniques

for

graylevelimages

error

are

introduced

inthis

papeq

such

as

ordered

dithering,directbinary

search,standard

error

diffusion

and

adaptive

diffusion,as

well

as

color

error

diffusion

halftoningsystem.Theperformances

ofthe

presented

algorithms

areevaluated

bycomparing

the

computationalcomplexity

andthevisual

effect.Furthermore,this

paperpresents

somenew

study

some

representative

performance

criterionsforhalftone

watermarkingtechnologies

for

halftone

algorithms.
