Unit 1 There’s Chinese dancing. 教案

一、 课文分析本课围绕唐人街和中国传统舞蹈这两大点重点教授There be 句

型。学生在四年级有过初步的学习，所以教师通过创设情景，实物举例，让学

生能快速了解该句型是“有、存在”的意思。纽约唐人街这一文化背景的铺垫，

能够激发学生学习的乐趣，从而快速进入本课知识点的学习中。本课的课堂教

学能够带领学生走入西方国家，了解居住在外国华人的生活，通过精讲巧练、

由浅入深、由易到难、由已知到未知、循序渐进的方法深化课堂教学内容。

二、导学目标

1、导学分析：学生在理解There be 结构的基础上用There be句型描述事物，老

师用大量的事物引导学生运用句型。

2、学习任务：There is a Chinatown in New York!

There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there.

三、教学目标1、知识目标：能掌握新授单词dancing, sometimes, shop, then。能

听说、认读句型 “There is/ are…”。

2、能力目标：能熟练掌握并运用句型“There is/ are…”。

3、情感、态度目标：培养学生在各种任务中积极与他人合作的良好学习习惯，

加深学生对唐人街的了解，培养学生热爱祖国的情感。

四、教学重点和难点重点：1、单词：dancing， sometimes, shop, then等。

2、句型：“There is/ are…”

难点：用本课所学的基本句型“There is/ are…”等描述某个地方或某事物情况。

五、教学方法情景教学法、任务型教学法、小组合作学习法。

六、教学过程1、复习上一模块所学知识。

1）让学生说出：长江、黄河、长城的英语名称。

2）复习句型：How long is the Changjiang River?（6300km）

Great Wall? （6700km）

Yellow River? （5464km）

引导学生用It’s ...来回答。

3）让学生猜一猜下列城市的人口数。（上海：18million 青岛：7million 济南：

6million ）运用句型How big is it ? It’s got ……来回答。

2、任务呈现与课文导入。

1）出示有关世界各种地区Chinatown的卡片。带领学生认识唐人街的建筑，初

步了解唐人街是国外的华人聚居区的这一概念。板书生词：dancing，

sometimes， shop， then向学生进行适当讲解，并带领学生进行练习。

2）出示一张城市景观的图片，让学生看图片回答问题。

T: This is a picture of a city. What can you see in it?

S: I can see…

S: Yes, in this picture, there are…

3）出示一张纽约唐人街的图片，让学生看图片回答问题。

T: Do you know where it is?

S: There is a Chinatown in America.

T: What can you see in this picture?

S: I can see…

S: Yes, in this picture, there are…

4）向学生介绍：Daming 现在在美国表兄的家里，他正在给家人发送email，他

想念家人吗？他今天了解到了美国的什么情况呢？让我们一起来看一看。

3、课件展示及课文教学。

1）出示课件，提出问题：

Q: A. Does Daming miss China?

B. where is Chinatown?

C. What is there in Chinatown?

2）播放录音。请学生认真听Daming和Simon的对话，然后判断大明是否想念

中国，为什么？（通过文中Do you miss China?- Sometimes.以及大明迫不及待

想要去唐人街的表现，引导学生得出肯定的回答，引出Chinatown 的话题）

3）教师提问：Where is Chinatown? What is it like? 再放一遍录音，让学生看书

听，并从书中找出问题的答案。引导学生用文中的句子回答问题。

A. there is a Chinatown in New York.

B. There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there.

C. There’s Chinese dancing.

学生边学课文边大声朗读新单词：dancing， sometimes, shop, then。

4）板书以上三个重点句子，并向学生介绍关于唐人街的背景。

5）让学生看课本Listen and say中的插图，并试着描述图中有什么。鼓励学生

大胆尝试。然后放录音，让学生仔细听，并注意对话中所使用的语言。

6）引导学生回顾并比较There is / there are 的用法。

4、课本Practice环节

用所学的句型There is / there are来分别描述Classroom A ，Classroom B，

Classroom C里面有什么。

T: there are lots of computers in Classroom A.

S: there are

5、作业：抄写并背诵一下重点句子。

I’m sending an email to my family in China.

Do you want to go to China town?

There is a Chinatown in New York.

There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there.

There is Chinese dancing.
