一起来数一数count的意思

高考一窥：

说起count这一单词，大家一定不陌生。没错，2015年江苏高考英语第29题，即出现了对它的短语考查。题目是这样的：

29. The whole team____CristianoRonaldo， and he seldom lets them down.

本题考查了考生对常见动词加介词on的短语在语境中的准确把握。语境理解的要求不算高。足球比赛是同学们身边再熟悉不过的话题。只要同学们对足球有一定的了解，能明白句中let 的含义为“使……失望”，那么就应该能够看出题干大意是：足球先生C罗是值得全队依赖的。count on指望；依靠。

用法回归一：让我们回顾一下count作为动词的常见用法

1.数数，点数。举两个例子说明：

Count Tomorrow Morning

lt's a night. John is looking at the sky.

Tom is John's younger brother. He asksJohn， “What are you doing？”

John says，“l'm counting stars.“

Tom laughs and says，“lt's really darknow. Why not count them tomorrow morning？”
