Lastweek, I visited to the countryside with my parents. This winter is much

colderthan before and we know that in some poor areas, people don’t even

have winterclothes to keep warm. So my parents decided to do something to

help them. Theytook me there because they wanted me to know their poor

situation. When we gotthere, I was surprised. People wore little and they didn’t

have enough food. Webrought food, clothes and some medicines there. We

hoped it would be helpful tothem. I hope there are more people helping them.

上个星期，我和爸爸妈妈去了乡下。这个冬天比以前冷很多。在一些贫困山区，人们

甚至没有冬衣御寒，所以我的父母决定做一些事情去帮助他们。他们想让我见识贫困山区

的情形，所以也带上了我。我们到那里时，我十分惊讶，人们穿得很少，也没有足够的食

物。我们带了食物、衣服和一些药品给他们，希望这真的能对他们有所帮助。我希望能有

更多人伸出援助之手。

I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. I liked

green plants, clear rivers lovely amimals there.I breathed the fresh air on the

mountain sometimes I went swimming in the river. I kept a diary every day.

I liked not the scene of the countryside, the people there. I helped

them to do farm work. I also helped the children in the neighbourhood with their

lessons. The children were interested in English. They were good at reading

writing, not do well in listening speaking. I helped them improve their

listening speaking. Their parents thought highly of me. I realized that knowledge

is greatly needed in the countryside.

我去农村过。我喜欢绿色的，清澈的河流有可的动物。我在山上呼吸新鲜空气，有时

我去河里游泳。我每天记日记。

我不喜欢那里的风光，而且那里的人。我帮他们做农活。我还帮助邻居家的孩子做功

课。孩子们对英语很感兴趣。在读写他们是好的，但听、说不好。我帮助他们提高听、说

能力。他们的父母高度赞扬了我。我意识到农村确实需要知识。

i live in a big city. but this summer holiday i want to go to the countryside to

relax.

the big city is modern and lively, but there is much noise, pollution, traffic,

and the people in it are very busy. i dont like it.

i like to visit nice and quiet countryside far away from the city. i like walking

where there are no shops, crowds or the tube. the air is fresh, thhe water is clean,

the trees are green, and the atmosphere is quiet. i can boat in the lake, fish and

swim in the river, climb the hills and pick up the fruit.

i hope that i can go to the countryside. that will be very interesting and

healthy.
