并列句中常用的连接词有哪些

在并列句中，常用的连接词有并列连词，如： and ，but ，or ，while ，for ，so ，neither ，nor

等，还有连接副词，如 still ， yet ， however ， consequently ， there-fore ， then 等。还有一些相

当于连接词的词组， 如：on the contrary （相反） ，not only but also （不仅 而且） ，on（ the ）

one hand on the other hand （一方面 另一方面）等。

这些连接词在句中起连接句子的作用，同时它们还表示并列、条件、结果、转折、对照让步和因果关系。

一、表示并列关系的连接词有 and ，not only but also ，neither ，nor ，so ，on （ the ）one

hand on the other hand 等。

The sun came out and the grass dried ．日出草干。

Not only are you funny ， but also you are witty ．你不仅风趣而且机智。

The first was not good ， neither was the second ．第一个不好，第二个也不好。

He did not go ， nor did his brother go ．他没有去，他的兄弟也没有去。

Jim plays football and so does his brother ．吉姆踢足球，他的兄弟也踢足球。

On the one hand I have to work ， on the other （ hand ）， I have a

great manyvisitors ．一方面我得工作，另一方面我又有许多来访者。

二、表示条件或结果关系的连接词有

and ， or ， consequently 等。

三、表示转折或让步关系的连接词有： but ， while ， however ，yet ， still ， onthe

It is raining hard ， however we have to go out ．雨下得很大，我们却不得不出去。

I have failed ， yet I shall try again ．我虽然失败了，但我还要试一试。

He is not a miser ， on the contrary ， no one could be more generous ．他不是个吝啬鬼，

相反，没有人比他更慷慨了。

While I like the colour of the hat ， I do not like its shape ．我虽然喜欢这顶帽子的颜色，可是不喜欢它的式样。

四、表示因果关系的连接词有 for ， so ， therefore ， thus ， accordingly 等。

I had a headache ， so I went to bed ．我头痛，因此上床睡觉了。

I don't know much about China ， therefore I can't advise you about it ．我对中国不十分了解，所以我无法给你出主意。
