1. embarrassed 描述个人感受(丢脸/脸红/羞耻感), 常和be，feel搭配

1) Chris was embarrassed when he was caught lying.

Chris被发现在撒谎的时候可尴尬啦。

2) I felt so embarrassed when my voice cracked on the stage.

在舞台上唱破音的时候，我真的尴尬得想死。

2. awkward 形容事情/场面尴尬(在场的人都很尴尬)

devil hole 直译就是“魔鬼洞”，形容自身处境非常艰难尴尬，

4. in hot water

指某人或某些人遇到非常麻烦的问题了，表现得尴尬焦躁不安。
