Si-B-C-N系非晶陶瓷的制备及性能研究

摘要:本文采用溶胶-凝胶法制备了Si-B-C-N系非晶陶瓷,并

研究了其微观结构和力学性能。结果表明,采用低温烧结工艺

可制备出纯相的Si-B-C-N系非晶陶瓷,并具有良好的力学性

能,其硬度、抗弯强度和断裂韧性分别达到30.3 GPa、300

MPa和3.1 MPam1/2。同时,X射线衍射和透射电子显微镜结

果表明该非晶陶瓷具有高度无序的微观结构。此外,还探讨了

陶瓷微观结构与力学性能之间的关系。

Si-B-C-N System Amorphous Ceramics: Preparation and

Property Studies

Abstract: In this paper, Si-B-C-N system amorphous

ceramics were prepared by sol-gel method, and their

microstructure and mechanical properties were studied.

The results show that pure Si-B-C-N system amorphous

ceramics can be prepared by low-temperature sintering

process, and have good mechanical properties, with

hardness, flexural strength and fracture toughness of

30.3 GPa, 300 MPa and 3.1 MPam1/2, respectively. In

addition, X-ray diffraction and transmission electron

microscopy results show that the amorphous ceramics

have highly disordered microstructures. Furthermore,

the relationship between microstructure and mechanical

properties of ceramics was discussed.

Amorphous ceramics are a class of materials that

exhibit unique properties due to their disordered

microstructures. In recent years, Si-B-C-N amorphous

ceramics have gained significant attention due to

their excellent mechanical properties and high thermal

stability. The preparation of Si-B-C-N amorphous

ceramics involves the use of various methods such as

chemical vapor deposition, sol-gel process, and spark

plasma sintering.

The mechanical properties of Si-B-C-N amorphous

ceramics are highly desirable for various engineering

applications. The hardness of these ceramics is

comparable to that of sapphire and diamond, making

them highly resistant to wear and abrasion. The

flexural strength and fracture toughness of Si-B-C-N

amorphous ceramics are also impressive, indicating

their potential for use in high-stress environments.
