小学阶段可数名词单数变成复数规则

1. 一般情况下，直接在单词末尾加s。如：book---books,girl---girls.

2. 以s,x,sh,ch结尾的单词，在单词末尾加es。如：glass---glasses(玻璃杯,

box---boxes brush---brushes(刷子)， watch---watches(手表)，dish---dishes,

sandwich---sandwiches.

3. 以元音字母（a,e,i,o,u）加y结尾的单词，在单词的末尾直接加s，如：

boy---boys,play---plays(戏剧)，toy---toys；以辅音字母加y结尾的单词，把y改成i

加es。如：study---studies(书房)，family---families.

4. 以f或fe结尾的单词，把f或fe去掉，加ves。如：knife---knives.

5. 以o结尾的单词，一般情况下，有生命的加es,如：potato---potatoes,

totato---totatoes,mango---mangoes,hero---heroes,

无生命的加s,如：photo---photos,zoo---zoos,piano---pianos.

特殊情况如下：

a) man---men,woman---women,snowman---snowmen,

policeman---policemen,policewoman---policewomen

b) foot---feet,tooth---teeth

c) child---children,mouse---mice

单复同形如下：

fish---fish,Chinese--- Chinese,Japanese--- Japanese

注意：1、people作为人的意思时，本身就是复数。

2、复合名词的复数：apple tree(复数)apple trees,

woman nurse(复数)women nurses
