It is universally acknowledged that some short video apps have gain
increasing popularity among people including young people, the middle-aged
and even older people. Without exception, they all make use of the short video
apps to be a major channel for entertainment, information sharing and social
interaction. However, a phenomenon appears that some people are excessively
immersed in watching short videos, with the consequence they often ignore really
important things that they need to do. Therefore, I'm not advocating that people
spend too much time on short reasons are as follows.
Firstly,spending much time on watching short videos hurts our
ys, more and more people are addicted to short videos. And many
students also watch them. Much time on watching short videos causes their
eyesight drop rapidly,furthermore, they even gradually forget the importance of
learning. In addition,browsing short videos for a long time leads people to stay up
late unconsciously, which is increasingly consuming their health, containing
people' sphysical and mental health. Although small videos can broaden our
horizons, some contents are not conducive to people 's correct outlook on life and
values.
Secondly, It will affect a person's ability of self-control, logical thinking. Many
people may have such experience, occasionally when there are some problems in
our self-discipline,which destroys our original daily track, and then we enter into a
vicious circle. It has been a long time since we got back on track. Or it is hard for us
to get back on track. Some things concerning self-discipline with problems like
losing weight, going to bed early, managing emotions. The content structure of
short videos is disordered, which is not like books or some special courses, but has
corresponding structure and progressive hierarchical relationship. Therefore, even
if you want to rely on it to study easily, it is not effective enough, because it
destroys the logic.
Thirdly, short videos may indirectly aggravate the illness of the elderly. Many
elderly people feel lonely, because their children are away from home, and they
seldom access to the chance of communicating with their children. Therefore, the
vast majority of the elderly pass the time by scanning short videos, but with the
passage of time, there will be particularly depressed emotions. In addition,
watching short videos does not require language communication, it will result in
bad impact on the language function of the elderly. At the same time, watching
short videos often leads to the decrease of activities of the elderly, and these
problems will induce the emergence of Alzheimer's disease. For the elderly with
cardiovascular diseases, they will have a greater chance of developing Alzheimer's
disease.
From the content I illustrated above, all in all,in spite of short video's .
colorfulness and its existing advantages, I persist in the idea, people can watch
short videos occasionally for leisure but they shouldn't indulge in them. After all,
what matters is that people should spend their limited time on the really
significant things for them.
众所周知,一些短视频应用在包括年轻人、中年人甚至老年人在内的人群中越来越受
欢迎。毫无例外,他们都利用短视频应用成为娱乐、信息共享和社交互动的主要渠道。然
而,有一种现象出现了,一些人过度沉迷于观看短视频,结果往往忽视了他们需要做的真
正重要的事情。因此,我并不主张人们在短视频上花费太多时间。我的理由如下。
首先,花太多时间看短视频会损害我们的健康。如今,越来越多的人沉迷于短视频。
许多学生也在观看。长时间看短视频会导致他们的视力迅速下降,而且,他们甚至逐渐忘
记了学习的重要性。此外,长时间浏览短视频会导致人们无意识地熬夜,这越来越消耗他
们的健康,牵制着人们的身心健康。虽然小视频可以开阔我们的视野,但有些内容不利于
人们正确的人生观和价值观。
其次,它会影响一个人的自我控制能力,逻辑思维能力。很多人可能有这样的经历,

会导致阿尔茨海默病的出现。对于患有心血管疾病的老年人,他们将有一个患老年痴呆症
的几率更大。
