一、教学目标:

1. 熟读提供的文本材料,鼓励背诵。

2. 熟练掌握习惯用语:

3. 熟练运用中心句型:

Chinese people invented paper,

情感目标:

知道古代中国人的四大发明(paper making, printing, compass, gunpowder),对于

全世界是个巨大的贡献。培养民族自豪感。

二、教学重难点

在以前学习过去时态的基础上,进一步学习部分动词的过去式及其在文中的运用。如:

1. Lead-in:

T: Which country is it? (China: The People’s Republic of China.)

Ss are asked to join all the sentences together and say them.

好奇是孩子们的天性,当我把孩子们的照片呈现在课件上时,孩子们立

刻被吸引了,她们都不知道我为什么把她们的照片放到了我的课件里。于是

借着这个契机,我又把美国人,英国人的照片以及相对应的国家的照片呈现

给了孩子们,让他们在边看图片的同时区分了 English people, Chinese

people,American people.为以后的学习奠定了很好的基础。

而中国五千年的文化底蕴,以及各种各样的发明更是我们中国人引以为豪的,

所以紧接着我呈现出纸以及印刷术的图片时,孩子们都脱口而出,兴趣更高

了。尤其是当学到Chinese people are very clever, you know.我让孩子们自豪

的读出这个句子时,孩子们个个昂首挺胸,声音洪亮。

为了让孩子们更直观的了解古代的四大发明中的造纸术和印刷术。我找来了

蔡伦和毕升的图片,告诉孩子们Cai Lun invented paper. Bi Sheng invented

printing.同时带领孩子们通过金手指,大小声等游戏操练这两个新单词:

paper printing .孩子们学得很不错。另外,还用这两个单词衍生出了课文里

另外几个单词: paper—newspaper printing—print—printed .这样孩子们

在记忆这几个单词的时候就更容易了。

当然,四大发明还有另外的两个,课文里没有出现,为了拓展孩子们的知识,

我把另外的两个发明也放在了课件了进行了呈现。即指南针和火药。在学完

四大发明后,还让学生把单词带到句型中进行拓展操练:Chinese people

invented ……

纵观这节课,也有两个不足:

第一, print—printed—printing 这三个单词很容易混淆,虽然课堂

里跟孩子们强调了它们之间的区别,但是效果不是太好,尤其在课后做练习

的时候出现的错误比较多。

第二, 由于在教授新单词上花的时间太多,所以对重点句型的突破

还做的不够,尤其是象Chinese people invented important things.以及Chinese

people invented printing too。这种长的句子读得还不够熟练。

当然,人无完人,诚然,课也是这样,不管准备得多充分,但课堂中总会有

这样或那样的突发问题出现,等着我们机智的去解决,我期待,下次的课堂

能更生动,能跟学生碰撞出更多的智慧的火花!
