confirm，及物动词，意为“证实；证明 ”。

(1)confirm sth. 证实某事 be confirmed 被证实

(2)confirm that+从句 察已经证实受害人是一名电脑程序员。

被动结构：sb be seen doing sth某人被看见正在做某事

[注意]类似see的动词还有 notice, hear, watch等感官动词和使役动词make, have。

后接不带to的不定式动词短语，但变为被动语态时，要加上动词不定式。
