Spring Festival has an another name: Chinese New Year. In China,

people have a good time at Spring Festival. Tiger′s Year came, I

also had a lot of fun this festival.

At Spring Festival eve, I went to a restautant with my family. We

had a big meal. The meal is delicious. There were fish and shrimps.

After supper, we ate some fruit. When we went home, I looked around.

Wow! The fireworks were colourful. In the evening, we wrapped

dumplings and watched Spring Festival eve show. The Spring Festival

eve show is wonderful!

At mid-night, I set off fireworks with my father, It meant “rang

out the old year and rang in the new.” In the moring, we ate a lot

of dumplings. My parents and my grandparents all gave me red packets.

I was very happy. We put on Spring Festival couplets.

I love Spring Festival, because I can eat lots of delicious food,

Spring Festival.

Spring Festival is in January or February. It is the most

traditional festival in China. People call it “Chinese New Year”

too.

Before Spring Festival, there is a Spring Festival’s eve. On

that day, first we clean and decorate our house. Then we gather

together and have a big meal with my family. After that we watch CCTV

Gala and wait for the TV presenters count the numbers. When it is

twelve o’clock of New Year’s Day, All the fireworks are blooming in

the sky. All the people Shout,”New year is coming!”

After Spring Festival’s eve, that’s the New Year. On that day

all the people will go outside and meet their friends and say” Happy

New Year!” to them. My family always put many candies and cookies on

the table and my father stays at home waits for his friends. My

mother and I go out to visit out friends. During the Spring Festival

I always get lots of lucky money from my family and our friends. I

really love this day/

Today is the fourteenth of February. It’s Spring Festiral today.

Today I got up very early, and many people got up very early, too. I

put on my red clothes and my shoes. They were all new and nice. My

cousin and his mother went to my home. My cousin and I played games

at home. At lunch time, we ate a lot of food. They were so delicious.

We visited relatives in the morning and afternoon. My cousin and I

got some red packets, we bought some books and some food in the

supermarket. At about four o’clock, we cleaned the house. We were

tired but so happy. Now our house is clean. In the evening, we

watched the TV together. How happy we were!
